Europe Just Called Out USA Over Ukraine War
We are now in the 9th month of Russia’s War on Ukraine and one thing is becoming exceptionally clear….EU citizens want an end to this conflict and a resolution as quick as possible.
Unfortunately for Europe, there is one country that is benefiting tremendously from the conflict in Ukraine and that is the US government and US gas companies who are making record profits from a rare opportunity to sell natural gas to Europe.
It puts Europe in an awkward situation. On one hand the EU largely follows the lead of the United States in almost all geopolitical matters. However it is now clear that America will always act in its own best interests and cares little for its allies.
This might sound harsh, but consider this….the EU has stopped buying gas from Russia and has turned to America to supply it’s gas needs. You would think the US government would make sure Europe is getting a fair price for supporting the Russian sanctions but Europe is now paying 4 times more than before.
The US Military Industrial Complex is making a seizing the geopolitical capitalistic opportunities in the world today by supplying weapons to both Ukraine and Taiwan…which in turn only ramps up conflict and tensions with both Russia and China.
Meanwhile there is an interesting trend in the business world. Politicians keep preaching China and Russia are the biggest threats to the international world order, but EU business leaders are not listening. In fact they are doing exactly the opposite.
They are moving closer to China (why wouldn’t they, China is the #1 trading partner for the EU) in an effort to stimulate the economy and prevent a disastrous recession.
And what about Russia? Germany’s Chancellor Olaf Scholz made the most progressive comments about Russia that we’ve seen from a Western leader. He expressed his desire to resume normal relations with Russia in the future, if Putin will stay committed to peace.
The world is changing tremendously with these trends…let’s break it down further in this week’s YouTube video:
